Dylan Shaffer Murphy
Games Producer

People-focused, results-driven Games Producer with 4+ years of empowering
cross-functional teams to create high quality, player-first games. I use my
background in service-based leadership to elevate team members and
improve organizational processes. I am proactive in my efforts to identify
risk areas and provide efficient, team-oriented solutions.
I genuinely enjoy collaborating with groups of people to create engaging
products, always striving to listen and embrace feedback on myself, as I
believe it is essential for effective leadership.
Above all, I value transparency and fostering a fun and exciting team environment where everyone's inputs are respected.
I am of course deeply passionate about video games, but also film and history!

What is the best part of game development?
I absolutely love leading and organizing a team to best use every person's strengths to make a successful and fun product. Creating memorable game experiences and doing it with a passionate team of developers is so rewarding. I truly want to have a hand in making something that players will love and make their day/week/year better by experiencing it.
What's your best gaming memory?
Getting together with friends to play party games like Jackbox and I end up laughing so much I have tears in my eyes. That, and the old LAN parties playing games like Classic Battlefront 2, Battlefield 1942, and Halo 3/Reach.
What do you do for fun?
Setting up events with friends, whether games, paintball, or a concert, it's always a great time. Sometimes it's hard to coordinate everyone's schedules but it is so worth it!
What are some fun facts about you?
I paraglided for a couple of years as a hobby, and luckily didn't die!
I grew up with franchises like Star Wars, Battlefield, and Halo (if you couldn't tell)!
I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho!
